First time visiting this park and I loved it. The lost lake trail was beautiful! Highly recommend! Hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did! ☺
Great park, nice beach, two choices of camping, wooded or next to Muskegon Lake channel. Good hiking in the summer, lighted cross country trail during the winter.
Great hiking pathways with beautiful views of both Lake Michigan and Muskegon lake. Parking is easily accessible and there are great areas throughout the park for picnicing. Pet friendly. The camp grounds looked nice but I've never stayed there. Definitely a local favorite for day hikes.
The Winter Sports Complex is a great family destination with three different cross ski trails too choose from, ice rinks, and a scenic ice skate trail through the woods. It is great fun for those of all ages.
Very friendly staff, nice campsites, beautiful beach. I only stayed one night here, but it was a very nice night - I could sleep in a hammock without getting devoured by mosquitoes, or being woken up by loud neighbors. Bring your own food - not many available restaurants nearby, but the ice cream place up the road is great.
